水上から越後湯沢間の電車がかなり少ないので、時間つぶしに沼田駅で降りてみました。歴史のある町ですが、観光地は郊外の丹原湖周辺や、吹割の滝の方が有名で、そちらまではさすがに時間はありませんでしたが、信州上田の真田氏ゆかりの地であり、天狗のお祭りであったり、歴史ある街だけあって見所が結構あると感じられました。

There are quite a few trains between Minakami and Echigo Yuzawa, so I got off at Numata station to kill time. Although it is a historical town, the tourist spots are more famous around Lake Tanbara in the suburbs and Fukiwari Waterfall, and although I didn't have much time to go there, it is a place related to Mr. Sanada in Ueda, Shinshu, and Tengu. I felt that there were quite a few things to see because it was a festival and there was only a historic town.
