上越線の終点長岡市。高崎を過ぎて、新潟に至るまでの中では最も大きな町です。山古志地区など山間部はかなり自転車ではきついので、有名な高龍神社まで行き、宮内駅の近くにある、酒蔵地区をポタリングしました。
高龍神社ですが、多少登りはあるもののきつい登り区間は2Km 程度なので、何とかなります。酒蔵地区を素通りするのかめぐるのかによって、トータルの時間は大きく変わります。わたくしは酒蔵の前で記念撮影したくらいで次の場所に急ぎましたが。

Nagaoka City, the end point of the Joetsu Line. It is the largest town after passing Takasaki to Niigata. The mountainous areas such as the Yamakoshi area are quite hard to ride by bicycle, so I went to the famous Koryu Shrine and pottered the sake brewery area near Miyauchi station.
Although it is Koryu Shrine, there are some climbs, but the steep climb section is about 2 km, so it is quite a lot. The total time will vary greatly depending on whether you pass through the sake brewery area or go around. I took a commemorative photo in front of the sake brewery and hurried to the next place.
Echigo-Takiya Station (30 minutes) → Koryu Shrine (25 minutes) → Miyauchi Sake Brewery District (5 minutes) → Miyauchi Station

毎度お決まりのマップに、今回はスピード等のログを載せておきます。高低差200M ですが、K3ですと結構きついです。最高速は40㎞/ｈを越えております。それでも安定して走行可能な走破性は見事です。
