K3のいいところは、折りたたんだサイズが小さいので、電車に乗せた場合の負担が少ないことです。内房線で行ったことのない、那古寺、崖観音、大房岬エリアと、東京湾観音エリアの2つに分けてサイクリング。電車ワープを使わずに、日本寺なども立ち寄りながら回ることは可能ですが、夏の暑さや、青春18きっぷ、日本寺はすでに往訪済みであることから、2つに分けました。
①那古船形駅→那古寺→崖観音→大房岬→冨浦駅（11KM）→電車で竹岡駅へ移動
②竹岡駅→燈篭大師の切通しトンネル→東京湾観音→大貫駅(20Km)
The good thing about the K3 is that it's small when folded, so it's less of a burden when you put it on a train. Cycling in two areas, the Nagoji, Cliff Kannon, Obusamisaki area, and the Tokyo Bay Kannon area, which I have never been to on the Uchibo Line. It is possible to visit Japanese temples without using the train warp, but I divided it into two due to the summer heat, the Seishun 18 Kippu, and the Japanese temple which I have already visited.
①Nago-Funagata Station → Nago-ji Temple → Cliff Kannon → Obusamisaki → Tomiura Station (11km) → Move to Takeoka Station by train
②Takeoka Station → Kiritoshi Tunnel of Toro Daishi → Tokyo Bay Kannon → Onuki Station (20km)
まずは、那古船形駅から走り始めます。那古寺は近いのですが、コンビニに寄り道してのスタート。海沿いは最高地点の標高は高くはないもののアップダウンが激しいので想像以上に大変です。K3はしたい自体が軽いので、意外と登れますが、ギア比が大きいのでパワーを多く消費します。那古寺からは東京湾の眺望、冨浦地区の町並みなどがよく見ます。ちょっとした高台に登ると海が近いことを実感できます。那古寺から崖観音（大福寺）までは15分足らずの距離です。歩くとちょっと面倒な距離も自転車であれば楽々走れる距離になります。崖観音は最近よく駅のポスターで見かけた場所で、懸造り建築の宝庫である千葉県の中でもかなり著名な場所です。崖に張り付くように作られたお堂からの景色は素晴らしいです。崖観音の次は県立公園である大房岬へ。岬への自転車の立ち入りは残念ながらできませんので、徒歩で回ることになります。大房岬から冨浦の駅まで戻り、電車での移動になります。
First, we will start running from Nako Funagata Station. Nakoji Temple is close, but we started by taking a detour to a convenience store. Although the altitude of the highest point along the coast is not high, the ups and downs are intense, so it is more difficult than I imagined. The K3 itself is light, so it can climb unexpectedly, but the gear ratio is large, so it consumes a lot of power. From Nagoji, you can often see the view of Tokyo Bay and the townscape of the Tomiura district. If you climb a little hill, you can feel that the sea is close. It takes less than 15 minutes from Nago-ji to Cliff Kannon (Daifukuji). Distances that are a little troublesome to walk can be easily covered by bicycle. Cliff Kannon is a place I often see on station posters these days, and it is quite a prominent place in Chiba Prefecture, which is a treasure trove of hanging architecture. The view from the temple built on the cliff is spectacular. After Cliff Kannon, head to Cape Obusa, a prefectural park. Unfortunately, bicycles cannot enter the cape, so you will have to walk around it. Return from Obusamisaki to Tomiura Station and travel by train.
電車で冨浦駅から竹岡駅まで移動し、第二ラウンド開始です。竹岡駅で降りたのは、「燈篭大師の切通トンネル」という場所が気になったからです。行ってみると、「おっ」という感じにはなります。燈篭大師の切通トンネルをすぎたあとは、東京湾観音のスポットまで何もめぼしいものはない感じです。海を見ながら走りたいのですが、意外と海沿いの道がないというのが感想です。東京湾大観音の坂道を上り、観音様は拝めましたが、残念ながら営業しておりませんでした。そして、大貫駅に行き、そこから輪行で帰宅です。
I moved from Tomiura Station to Takeoka Station by train and started the second round. I got off at Takeoka Station because I was interested in a place called "Toro Daishi no Kiridoshi Tunnel". When you go there, you will feel like "Oops". After passing through the Kiridoshi Tunnel of Toro Daishi, it seems that there is nothing remarkable until the spot of Tokyo Bay Kannon. I'd like to run while looking at the sea, but my impression is that there are surprisingly no roads along the sea. I went up the slope of Tokyo Bay Kannon and worshiped Kannon, but unfortunately it was not open. Then, go to Onuki station and go home from there.
