県境は結構な確率で、分水嶺か川というケースになります。甲州街道（国道20号線）東京都八王子市と神奈川県相模原市の境は前者になります。そんなわけで、県境まで峠道を上ることになります。峠道を走るにはK3ではちょっと厳しくなるので、ViscEvoでの2度目の輪行です。走行距離は約50㎞、走行時間は3時間10分、経過時間は4時間30分でした。坂道登るだけではなくアップダウンも激しい道ですが、時速17㎞の移動速度をキープできるViscEvoはさすがです。
コースは、高尾駅→木下沢梅林→大垂水峠→相模湖公園→津久井湖城山公園→八王子駅となります。
Prefectural borders are quite likely to be watersheds or rivers. Koshu Highway (National Route 20) The border between Hachioji City, Tokyo and Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture is the former. That's why I'm going to go up the mountain pass to the prefectural border. This is my second cycle with ViscEvo, as K3 is a little tougher to ride on mountain passes. It's a road that not only climbs hills, but also has a lot of ups and downs, but ViscEvo can maintain a moving speed of 17 km/h.
The course is Takao Station → Kinoshitazawa Bairin → Otarumi Pass → Sagamiko Park → Lake Tsukui Shiroyama Park → Hachioji Station.
JR高尾駅から甲府方面に向かいます。2月末から3月上旬にかけて高尾エリアは梅林があるので、梅林に寄りました。梅林から国道20号線に戻り、高尾山口駅を越えると登りが始まります。とはいえ、緩斜面をだらだら上る感じですので、ギアを軽くすれば問題ありません。
Head towards Kofu from JR Takao Station. There is a plum grove in the Takao area from the end of February to the beginning of March, so I stopped by. Return to National Route 20 from Bairin, and after passing Takaosanguchi Station, the climb begins. However, since it feels like climbing a gentle slope, there is no problem if you lighten the gear.
大垂水峠を越えると、相模湖公園まで一気の下りです。
After crossing the Otarumi Pass, it's a quick descent to Sagamiko Park.
相模湖公園から相模川沿いを行こうと思いましたが、通行止めだったので仕方なく国道413号線に戻り、国道経由で津久井湖城山公園に向かいました。途中、クリームパン屋があったので寄ってみました。有名店らしく大混雑でした。
I thought of going along the Sagami River from Sagamiko Park, but it was closed to traffic, so I had no choice but to return to National Route 413 and head to Tsukui Lake Shiroyama Park via the national highway. There was a cream bakery on the way, so I stopped by. It was very crowded like a famous store.
城山公園から八王子駅までは下り基調の楽な道。きれいな新興住宅地である八王子みなみ野エリアを抜けてゴールです。
From Shiroyama Park to Hachioji Station, it is an easy downhill road. The goal is through the Hachioji Minamino area, which is a beautiful new residential area.
