Ishioka City, Ibaraki Prefecture. During the Ritsuryo period, it was also the starting point of the history of the Hita region, where the Kokubunji temple was located. Ichinomiya is Kashima Shrine, but there is also the Sosha shrine, so it is a town full of Ibaraki history. The former Yasato-cho area is home to Mount Tsukuba and the Flower Park, but Ishioka City has Kokufu Park, Hitachi Kuni Sosha Shrine, Fudoki-ga-oka, and the largest Funazukayama Kofun burial mound in Ibaraki Prefecture. However, the only thing that really catches your eye is the lion's head at Fudoki-ga-oka.
Also, it was actually used as a filming location for Fly Me to Saitama recently. Ibaraki Prefecture has been used quite a lot for filming locations.
