青海神社の鳥居門前町として栄えた加茂市。新潟県だと燕三条エリアになります。まず、加茂駅を出てその青海神社を目指します。青海神社を出て、道の駅田上へ。道の駅田上からは、西に向かい旧新潟交通電車線の月潟駅へ。月潟駅からしろね大凧と歴史の館、笹川邸などを回り、新潟市新津鉄道資料館へ。鉄道資料館からは新潟駅へ直行しました。意外と、新津から新潟が遠かったです。全部で約60㎞の道のりでした。
Kamo City flourished as a town in front of the torii gate of Aomi Shrine. In Niigata Prefecture, it is in the Tsubame-Sanjo area. First, leave Kamo Station and head for Aomi Shrine. Leaving Aomi Shrine, head to the Tagami roadside station. From the Tagami roadside station, head west to Tsukigata Station on the old Niigata Kotsu train line. From Tsukigata Station, visit the Shirone Giant Kite and History Museum, the Sasagawa Residence, and more, before heading to the Niigata City Niitsu Railway Museum. From the railway museum, head straight to Niigata Station. Surprisingly, Niitsu is far from Niigata. The total journey was about 60km.
