京都府北部の主要都市の一つ福知山市。福知山城を中心とした城下町で、歴史を感じる町です。福知山市内をポタリングした後、京丹後鉄道宮副線沿いに北上し、合併により福知山市に編入された大江町地区へ。大江町は元伊勢参りの場所の一つで、元伊勢外宮豊受大神社、元伊勢内宮皇大神社があります。また、天岩戸神社もあり、こちらも滝とのコラボレーションが素晴らしい神社でした。
Fukuchiyama City is one of the major cities in northern Kyoto Prefecture. It is a castle town centered around Fukuchiyama Castle, and is a town with a strong historical feel. After pottering around Fukuchiyama City, we headed north along the Kyotango Railway Miyafuku Line to the Oemachi district, which was incorporated into Fukuchiyama City through a merger. Oemachi is one of the places on the pilgrimage to Motoise Shrine, and is home to Motoise Geku Toyoke Shrine and Motoise Naiku Kotai Shrine. There is also Amanoiwato Shrine, which is also a wonderful shrine with a waterfall.

SLの静態保存がされている福知山駅。山陰本線、京丹後鉄道宮福線、福知山線の走る鉄道の町、交通の要衝であることを感じさせられます。福知山駅を後にし、口コミの多い神社を少し回った後、福知山城をバックに写真を撮って、一路大江町方面に向かいます。
Fukuchiyama Station, where a steam locomotive is preserved. The town is a transportation hub, with the Sanin Main Line, Kyotango Railway Miyafuku Line, and Fukuchiyama Line running through it. Leaving Fukuchiyama Station behind, we took a quick look around the much-reviewed shrine, took some photos with Fukuchiyama Castle in the background, and headed straight for Oemachi.




大江エリアに入って、まず元伊勢外宮豊受大神社に寄ります。一見して古く歴史ある神社であることを感じます。その後、大江町の中心地である大江駅をパスして、元伊勢内宮皇大神社に寄ります。元伊勢内宮皇大神社から、徒歩で天岩戸神社により、徒歩で自転車を置いた場所まで戻りました。元伊勢内宮皇大神社は山の中にある、神聖な感じを受ける場所でした。天岩戸神社は、滝との景色が素晴らしく日本らしい場所と思いました。
Entering the Oe area, we first visited Motoise Geku Toyouke Shrine. At first glance, we could tell it was an old and historic shrine. After that, we passed Oe Station, the center of Oe town, and visited Motoise Naiku Kotaijinja Shrine. From Motoise Naiku Kotaijinja Shrine, we walked to Ama-no-Iwato Shrine and then returned to where we had parked our bikes. Motoise Naiku Kotaijinja Shrine is located in the mountains, and it was a place that had a sacred feel to it. Ama-no-Iwato Shrine had a wonderful view with the waterfall, and we thought it was a typically Japanese place.















トータル25㎞しか走っておらず、天橋立までもあと20㎞程度で、まだ午前中でしたが、当日もう1か所走るのと、京丹後鉄道に乗ってみたかったので、内宮駅から輪行をし、宮津駅まで向かいました。
I had only ridden a total of 25km, with only about 20km left to go from Amanohashidate, and it was still morning, but I wanted to ride one more place that day and also try out the Kyotango Railway, so I packed my bike at Uchimiya Station and headed to Miyazu Station.
