大江町の元伊勢参りを午前中に走り、電車で移動した後、天橋立を渡るダブルヘッター。午後の部の天橋立渡りのスタートは宮津駅から。宮津駅から天橋立駅までは自転車で15分足らずでつけると思います。天橋立のたもとにある文珠寺をお参りした後、対岸に渡り、元伊勢籠神社にお参り。与謝野町方面に走り、重要建造物群保存地区である加悦の集落に向かいます。加悦の集落を散策した後、加悦鉄道の廃線跡のサイクリングロードを走って与謝野駅まで行き戻りました。
A double-header, a morning ride to Motoise Shrine in Oe Town, followed by a train ride across Amanohashidate. The afternoon ride across Amanohashidate starts from Miyazu Station. It takes less than 15 minutes by bicycle from Miyazu Station to Amanohashidate Station. After visiting Monjuji Temple at the foot of Amanohashidate, we crossed to the opposite bank and visited Motoise Konojinja Shrine. We rode towards Yosano Town, heading towards the village of Kayo, which is an Important Preservation District for Groups of Buildings. After a stroll around the village of Kayo, we rode along the cycle road that follows the abandoned Kayo Railway line to Yosano Station and back.
宮津駅は、京丹後鉄道宮福線、宮豊線、宮舞線が交わる交通の要衝です。天橋立アリアの中心地でもあるし、美しい港町でもあります。
宮津駅を後にし、天橋立へ。天橋立の駅から文珠寺にかけては多くの観光客、多くのレンタルサイクル屋があります。自転車で天橋立を渡る需要があるのでしょう。
Miyazu Station is a key transportation hub where the Kyotango Railway Miyafuku Line, Miyatoyo Line, and Miyamai Line intersect. It is also the center of the Amanohashidate area and a beautiful port town.
Leaving Miyazu Station behind, we headed for Amanohashidate. From Amanohashidate Station to Monjuji Temple, there are many tourists and bicycle rental shops. There must be a demand for people to cross Amanohashidate by bicycle.
天橋立はダートですが、路面はしっかりしているので、K3でも問題なく走れます。
ゆっくり走って30分。観光がてら小一時間というところでしょうか。
Amanohashidate is a dirt road, but the surface is solid, so even a K3 can run on it without any problems.
It takes about 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. If you do some sightseeing, it will take about an hour.
阿蘇海の北岸を走り、与謝野町加悦へ。出雲大社の与謝野分祀に寄り、旧加悦町役場に向かいます。重要建造物群保存地区を歩き、最後に加悦鉄道資料館を見て、廃線路のサイクリングロードを使い与謝野駅から戻りました。
We rode along the north shore of Aso Sea and headed to Kayo in Yosano Town. We stopped by the Yosano branch shrine of Izumo Taisha Shrine and headed to the former Kayo Town Hall. We walked through the Important Preservation District for Groups of Buildings, and finally visited the Kayo Railway Museum, before returning from Yosano Station using the abandoned railway cycling road.
