三陸海岸の南の拠点大船渡市から、中央の拠点釜石市まで。長崎海岸を経由したため、65㎞の道のりになりました。2025年の山火事直後ということもあり、焼けた民家や、山肌がまだたくさん残っていました。早くの復興をお祈りします。
大船渡、釜石間はめぼしい展望所等はなく、小さな半島も先端まで陸路で行くのは難しいところが多いので南回りに長崎海岸方面を通るほかは基本的には国道45号線に沿って走ることとなります。
釜石大観音まではめぼしい観光地もなく、のんびりとしたライドを楽しめました。
From Ofunato City, the southern base of the Sanriku Coast, to Kamaishi City, the central base. It was a 65km journey via Nagasaki Coast. As it was right after the 2025 forest fire, many burnt houses and mountain slopes still remained. I pray for a speedy recovery.
There are no notable observation points between Ofunato and Kamaishi, and it is difficult to get to the tip of the small peninsula by land in many places, so apart from going south towards Nagasaki Coast, the ride basically follows National Route 45.
There were no notable tourist spots until Kamaishi Daikannon, so I enjoyed a leisurely ride.
