郡山駅から二本松駅まで30㎞のちょっとしたサイクリング。本当は、山形新幹線で米沢に行く予定でしたが、新幹線が運休のため、郡山駅で降りて、二本松まで走り、二本松から福島駅で在来線に乗り換えて米沢へ。奥羽本線の在来線は福島米沢間の日中は極端に本数が少ないため、時間調整のためのサイクリング。
とりあえず、口コミの多い蛇の鼻と、霞ヶ城公園だけ寄りました。
I did a short 30km bike ride from Koriyama Station to Nihonmatsu Station. I had originally planned to take the Yamagata Shinkansen to Yonezawa, but due to the Shinkansen being suspended, I got off at Koriyama Station, rode to Nihonmatsu, and then changed to a local train at Fukushima Station to get to Yonezawa. The Ou Main Line's local trains between Fukushima and Yonezawa are extremely infrequent during the day, so I cycled to make up for the time.
For now, I only stopped by Hebi-no-hana, which has many reviews, and Kasumigaoka Park.
基本的には全ルート国道4号線を走り、蛇の鼻に寄るために少し西寄りのルートを走るだけです。ほぼ、平坦で走りやすい地形です。蛇の鼻近くに安達太良サービスエリアがあり、よく車で通過していたのでなんだか感慨深い感じでした。
蛇の鼻は昭和の香りがする観光地で、蓮の花が咲いておりました。霞ヶ城公園は二本松市のシンボルであり、桜の名所、菊祭りの会場で有名です。
