掛川駅から、天竜浜松鉄道沿いに走り、遠州森町を走るのがメインになります。遠州森町は、次郎長一家の森の石松とか、造園家の小堀遠州とかの出身地でもあり、ゆかりの場所があります。また、遠江の国一宮である、小國神社や城下町の町並みなど、遠江小京都とも呼ばれる美しい町です。
遠州森町を後にして、天竜川を渡ると浜松市に入ります。見所が多い大きな町ですが、今回は、浜松駅に向かうだけになってしまいました。
From Kakegawa Station, the journey will mainly follow the Tenryu Hamamatsu Railway and pass through Enshu Morimachi. Enshu Morimachi is the birthplace of Mori no Ishimatsu of the Jirocho family, and the landscape gardener Kobori Enshu, and is home to many places associated with them. It's also a beautiful town sometimes called Little Kyoto of Totomi, home to Oguni Shrine, the Ichinomiya of Totomi Province, and its castle townscape.
Leaving Enshu Morimachi behind, we cross the Tenryu River and enter Hamamatsu City. It's a large town with much to see, but this time we only ended up heading to Hamamatsu Station.
スタートは掛川駅になります。レトロな駅舎はお気に入り。時間の都合上、シンボルである掛川城を見て、近所の龍尾神社により遠州森町に向かいました。小一時間かかります。
We start at Kakegawa Station. I love the retro station building. Due to time constraints, we stop by the nearby Tatsuo Shrine to see the symbol of the area, then head to Enshu Morimachi. It takes about an hour.
遠州森町に入り、神社御寺巡りのポタリング。天宮神社、大洞院、香勝寺、小國神社、極楽寺と回ります。
Entering Enshu Morimachi, we went pottering around the shrines and temples, visiting Tengu Shrine, Daidoin Temple, Koshoji Temple, Oguni Shrine and Gokurakuji Temple.
