岡山東部の観光地を2か所回るライド。まずは、岡山駅から赤穂線の乗り西大寺駅まで輪行をし、牛窓を目指します。牛窓は、日本のエーゲ海といわれる風光明媚な町です。牛窓から邑久駅に戻り、再度輪行をして備前片上駅まで輪行をしました。15㎞くらいなので自走してもいいかなとは思いましたが、時間の都合上短距離輪行をしました。備前片上駅から旧閑谷学校により吉永駅から岡山駅に戻りました。
This is a ride that takes you around two tourist spots in eastern Okayama. First, I took the Ako Line from Okayama Station to Saidaiji Station, packing my bike and heading to Ushimado. Ushimado is a scenic town known as the Aegean Sea of Japan. From Ushimado, I returned to Oku Station, packed my bike again, and carried it to Bizen-Katakami Station. It was only about 15km, so I thought I could have ridden it myself, but due to time constraints, I packed my bike for a short distance. From Bizen-Katakami Station, I took the former Shizutani School and returned to Okayama Station from Yoshinaga Station.
まずは牛窓エリア。水没ペンション村というのが気になって寄ってみました。危険なので、道路側からパチリ。牛窓神社、牛窓オリーブ園などの観光地を回り、邑久駅へ向かいました。前島に渡るかどうか迷いましたが、今回はパスしました。
First, we went to the Ushimado area. I was curious about the Submerged Pension Village, so I stopped by. Since it was dangerous, I took a photo from the road side. After visiting tourist spots such as Ushimado Shrine and Ushimado Olive Garden, we headed to Oku Station. I wondered whether to cross over to Maejima, but decided not to this time.
次に、旧閑谷学校です。軽くヒルクライムになります。時間があれば、備前焼の町伊部も回りたかったです。
Next is the former Shizutani School. It's a bit of a hill climb. If I had more time, I would have liked to visit Ibe, the town of Bizen ware.
