栃木県の北部の桜の名所を回るサイクリング。
東北本線の矢板駅で降り、長峰公園~龍城公園~乃木神社~三和住宅にしなすのスポーツプラザ～千本松牧場と回ります。帰りは西那須野駅から戻ります。矢板駅までは、宇都宮から30分程度。都内から普通列車で2時間半程度、東京から何とか日帰りで行ける程度です。行程は40㎞強です。桜を見ながらですんで、ゆっくりとしたポタリング。強烈な登りもなく、K3でも十分に回れます。
A cycling tour of cherry blossom viewing spots in northern Tochigi Prefecture.
The route starts at Yaita Station on the Tohoku Main Line, visiting Nagamine Park, Ryujo Park, Nogi Shrine, Sanwa Housing, Nishinasuno Sports Plaza, and Senbonmatsu Ranch. The return trip is from Nishinasuno Station. Yaita Station is about 30 minutes from Utsunomiya. It's about 2.5 hours from central Tokyo by local train, making it somewhat feasible as a day trip from Tokyo. The route is just over 40km. It's a leisurely ride, enjoying the cherry blossoms. There are no steep climbs, and it's easily manageable even on a K3 bike.
