東武桐生線の相老駅をスタートし、群馬県の紅葉の名所である宝徳寺と崇禅寺を巡り、桐生市内を回った後、渡良瀬川沿いを走り、足利市駅からの戻るルートです。
紅葉の名所である、群馬県桐生市の宝徳寺。「床もみじ」といわれる、磨かれた床に移るもみじが絶景です。紅葉の時期の土日は相当混雑しますが、自転車だと渋滞知らずで行けるのはいいところ。ただ、入場には並びますが。崇禅寺は対照的に観光客は少なくゆっくりともみじを鑑賞することができます。
崇禅寺からんノスタルジーを感じる遊園地を抜けて、桐生市街へ。絹織物で栄えた町であり、古い町並みが残っております。
桐生市を越えて渡良瀬川のサイクリングロードをを使い足利市駅へ。時間があれば、足利学校や、鑁阿寺などを回るとよいでしょう。自分は夕方になってしまったので、歌で有名な「渡良瀬橋」を渡り、足利市駅から戻りました。

However, there will be a line to enter. In contrast, there are fewer tourists at Sozenji Temple, so you can take your time and admire the maple leaves.
Passing through the amusement park that gives you a nostalgic feeling from Sozenji Temple, head towards Kiryu City. It was a town that prospered for silk textiles, and the old townscape still remains.
Cross Kiryu City and take the Watarase River cycling road to Ashikaga City Station. If you have time, it would be a good idea to visit Ashikaga School and Ban'a Temple. Since it was already late in the evening, I crossed Watarase Bridge, which is famous for singing, and returned from Ashikaga City Station.
