愛媛県今治市、西条市、新居浜市と四国の中では工業が発展しているエリア三市を巡るサイクリング。この三市は造船、鉱業、機械などの産業が発展している産業都市であります。観光名所としては、今治はしまなみ海道、西条は石鎚山、新居浜は別子銅山となるでしょうか。残念なことに冬に石鎚山や別子銅山にはいくのは少し難しいので、予算線沿いに四国八十八か所の札所などのお寺、石鎚神社などの大きな神社をつなぎ合わせて走りました。

Ishizuchi and the Besshi Copper Mine in winter, so I ran along the budget line, connecting temples such as the 88 temples of Shikoku, and large shrines such as Ishizuchi Shrine. .
今治駅をスタートし、今治城を回った後。日本食研KO工場へ。お正月のため工場見学はお休みですが、シェーンブルン宮殿そっくりの工場は圧巻でした。
国分寺、網敷天満社により、道の駅今治湯浦温泉を越えると西条市です。

海沿いを走っているのに、今治市と西条市の市境は山で、全く別の町に入るのだなと感じたり、四国はほとんどが山に覆われているのだなとも感じました。西条市に入り目指したのは小松エリアの香園寺です。四国八十八か所第61番で、近代的なコンクリートのお堂と歴史ある仏像が対照的で印象的でした。その後、石鎚神社に向かい、その近くの64番札所前神寺に寄りました。

It is number 61 of the 88 temples of Shikoku, and the contrast between the modern concrete hall and the historic Buddha statue was impressive. Afterwards, I headed to Ishizuchi Shrine and stopped at the 64th Temple Maejinji Temple nearby.
その後、海沿いに進路を取り新居浜市に向かいました。新居浜の観光名所であるマイントピア別子は冬季休業中だったので、一宮神社にお参りをして新居浜駅から輪行しました。
