茨城県北部の日立市から北茨城市を目指すサイクリング。およそ50㎞の道のり、走行時間は3時間ちょうどでした。大甕駅をスタートし、日立灯台に寄った後、国道245号線を北上。国道6号線のバイパスにぶつかり、おしゃれに生まれ変わった日立駅に寄ります。その後、かんぽの宿が人気の鵜の岬へ。
Cycling from Hitachi City in northern Ibaraki Prefecture to Kitaibaraki City. The distance was approximately 50km and the driving time was exactly 3 hours. Start at Omika Station, stop at Hitachi Lighthouse, then head north on National Route 245. I hit the National Route 6 bypass and stopped at Hitachi Station, which has been stylishly reborn. Afterwards, head to Cape Uno, where the Kanpo inn is popular.
鵜の岬を過ぎ、高萩市へ。時間が押してしまったため、高萩市で謎のバンクシーの偽物の絵をみたあと、ひたすら国道6号線を北上しました。北茨城市に入り、有名な高倉天心ゆかりの地である五浦へ。五浦まで行けば、常磐線茨城県最北端の駅である大津港駅はすぐです。
Passing Uno Misaki and heading towards Takahagi City. I was running out of time, so after seeing a mysterious fake Banksy painting in Takahagi City, I continued north on National Route 6. Enter Kitaibaraki City and head to Goura, a place connected to the famous Takakura Tenshin. If you go to Goura, Otsuko Station, the northernmost station in Ibaraki Prefecture on the Joban Line, is right next to you.
