東北遠征初日は、大田原市、福島市をサイクリングし、一気に宮城県の北部栗原市まで行き1泊。2日目です。栗原市は栗駒山とかが有名ですが、目的は伊豆沼をサイクリングすることです。伊豆沼はバードウォッチングの聖地として有名ですが、自転車乗りとしては湖1周には何かと執着心がありますね。また、伊豆沼のほかにも隣接して内沼、長沼の3つの湖があるので、そちらも回ってきました。そして、意外と楽しめたのは栗原鉄道の資料館。残念ながら廃線になってしまった栗原鉄道ですが、資料館には当時の駅舎や車両歴史などが展示され結構楽しめました。

Kurihara City in the northern part of Miyagi Prefecture for one night. It's the second day. Kurihara City is famous for Mt. Kurikoma, but the purpose is to cycle around Lake Izu. Lake Izunuma is famous as a sacred place for bird watching, but as a cyclist, I am obsessed with going around the lake. In addition to Izunuma, there are three adjacent lakes, Uchinuma and Naganuma, so I also visited them. And surprisingly I enjoyed the museum of Kurihara Railway. Unfortunately, the Kurihara Railway has been discontinued, but I was able to enjoy the exhibition of the station building and vehicle history at that time in the museum.
