上越市高田というと日本三大夜祭で有名な高田城址がある町です。また、春日山を拠点とした上杉謙信の町でもあり、上越地方随一の観光地でもあります。ただ、上越市といっても合併によりかなり広大であり、今回は高田地区をポタリングした後直江津地区から久比岐自転車歩行者道に入り、終点の糸魚川まで走りました。市内のポタリングは約30㎞、自転車道を35㎞走る道のりです。

Kasugayama is also the town of Uesugi Kenshin, and it is also the number one tourist destination in the Joetsu region. , even though it is called Joetsu City, it is quite large due to the merger, and this time, after pottering in the Takada area, I entered the Kubiki bicycle and pedestrian road from the Naoetsu area and ran to Itoigawa, the end point. The pottering in the city is about 30km, and the cycle path is 35km.

久比岐自転車歩行者道。約30㎞の道のりで、ロードバイクで飛ばせば1時間程度で走行可能です。ゆっくり走っても3時間。休憩所は結構ありますが、物品を購入できそうなのは道の駅海テラス名立と道の駅マリンドーム能生くらいです。
案内板が随所にあるのと、原則国道8号線に並行して走るので、道に迷うポイントは少ないです。また、軽便鉄道の廃線跡地を使っているので、５％を超える坂道はなく、風さえなければ快適です。風向きによって走る方向を変えるのみいいかもしれませんね。

In addition, since it uses the discontinued light railway line, there are no slopes exceeding 5%, and it is comfortable as long as there is no wind. It may be good to change the running direction depending on the wind direction.
