DAHON K3 の国内版で、2020年モデル以降にはヘッドチューブににダボ穴が3つあります。このダボ穴を2つ使いRIXEN ＆ KAULのKR822というヘッドチューブアダプターを取り付けます。ねじ止めするだけですので、六角レンチがあれば素人でも簡単に取り付けることができます。価格は4170円でした。これで、対応するRIXEN ＆ KAULのカゴや、バックなどを取り付けることができるようになります。自分は、小さめのバスケットであるKF804というミニバスケットを選択しました。価格は2720円です。いろいろなサイトを見ると、昔は安かったんだなーというのが感想です。かごはワンタッチで簡単に取り外し可能です。

Use these two dowel holes to attach the RIXEN & KAUL KR822 head tube adapter. Since it is only screwed, even amateurs can easily install it with a hexagonal wrench. The price was 4170 yen. まず、見た目はなんだかミニチュア自転車みたいになります。そして、もともと7.8㎏程度の重さの自転車が1㎏くらい重くなるので、走りは若干もっさりになります。また、ハンドル切っても、ヘッドチューブは回らないので、カゴは常に正面を向きます。これは一般的な自転車とはとの大きな違いです。慣れるまではかなり違和感があります。ただ、かごに荷物に乗せても、トップチューブに負荷がかかるだけであって、ハンドルには影響ないので、荷物を積んで走っても、重さでハンドルを取られることはありません。ミニバスケットの大きさですが16リットルとのことです。ミニなので、それほど大きくはありませんね。実際、容量に関しましてはそれほど期待できません。ペットボトルに、1食分の弁当くらいは詰めますが、日帰り輪行分くらいの荷物を積むと満杯です。雨具、着替え、輪行袋、水1.5リットル、財布鍵などの小物ポーチで満載でした。
カゴをつけての輪行のお話はまたあとで。

However, even if you put luggage in the basket, the load will only be applied to the top tube and the handlebars will not be affected, so even if you run with luggage, the weight will not grab the steering wheel. The size of the mini basket is 16 liters. It's a mini, so it's not that big. In fact, you can't expect much when it comes to capacity. A plastic bottle can be packed with a lunch box for one meal, but it is full when it is loaded with luggage for a day trip. It was packed with rain gear, a change of clothes, a bicycle bag, 1.5 liters of water, and small pouches such as wallet keys.
