福島エリアの相双地域というと野馬追まつりが有名でしょうか。原発でかなり影響を受けたエリアであり、復興もまだまだという感じでした。午前中いわき市の七浜海道を走り、広野駅から小高駅まで鉄道ワープをしました。広野から先は原ノ町駅まで極端に電車が減り、また原発規制で自転車が通れないエリアでもあるのでご注意を。
The Soso region of the Fukushima area is famous for the Nomaoi Festival. It was an area that was significantly affected by the nuclear power plant, and it felt like there was still a long way to go to recover. In the morning, we ran along the Nanahama Kaido in Iwaki City and took a train warp from Hirono Station to Odaka Station. Please note that from Hirono to Haranomachi Station, the number of trains is extremely reduced, and due to nuclear power regulations, bicycles are not allowed in the area.
小高駅を出て、小高地区にある相馬小高神社までは結構近いです。相馬小高神社を出ると、次は原ノ町エリアの相馬太田神社に向かいます。原ノ町アエリアが南相馬市の中心地になります。相馬大谷神社の次は、野馬追の会場である、雲雀ヶ原祭場地に寄りました。
南相馬市を出て、途中道の駅、相馬百尺観音、涼ヶ岡八幡神社を経て相馬中村神社に寄りました。
景色の良いポイントは少なく、海沿いは津波で根こそぎなくなっているエリアですのでどうしても神社と道の駅をつなぐ感じになりそうです。
距離は合計約45Kmでした。
Leaving Odaka Station, it is quite close to Soma Odaka Shrine in the Odaka area. After leaving Soma Odaka Shrine, the next step is to head to Soma Ota Shrine in the Haranomachi area. Haranomachi Aeria is the center of Minamisoma City. After Soma Otani Shrine, we stopped at Hibarigahara Festival Grounds, the venue for Nomaoi.
After leaving Minamisoma City, I stopped at a roadside station, Soma Hyakushaku Kannon, and Suzugaoka Hachiman Shrine, and then Soma Nakamura Shrine.
There aren't many scenic spots, and the area along the coast has been uprooted by the tsunami, so it's likely to be a connection between a shrine and a roadside station.
