仙台市の東15㎞くらいにある七ヶ浜町。松島四大観の一つである多聞山がある町です。町内に鉄道はありませんが、仙石線の多賀城駅に近く、車社会ですので、仙台市や多賀城市、塩竃市などにも通勤可能で、風光明媚なことから周辺の町のベッドタウンとなっている町です。鎌倉市のように歴史的な場所は少ないですが、海のレジャー目当てでの居住者も多く、少し湘南を感じる場所でもありました。
ルートは多賀城駅を出発し、街の南側から反時計回りに一周する感じです。七ヶ浜の名の通り、七つの浜、七ヶ浜国際村、鼻節神社と回り、多聞山を経て、東北本線の塩竃駅から仙台市内に戻りました。
距離27㎞、走行時間は2時間ほどで、半日ほどで回れるので仙台についた当日、または仙台から帰京する日など半日の時間ができたときにお勧めです。
Shichigahama Town is located about 15 km east of Sendai City. This town is home to Mt. Tamon, one of the four great views of Matsushima. Although there is no railway in the town, it is close to Tagajo Station on the Senseki Line and is a car-based society, so it is possible to commute to Sendai City, Tagajo City, Shiogama City, etc., and due to its scenic beauty, it has become a commuter town for the surrounding towns. It's a town. Although there aren't many historical places like Kamakura City, there are many residents here for seaside leisure, and it feels a bit like Shonan.
The route starts from Tagajo Station and circles counterclockwise from the south side of the city. As the name of Shichigahama suggests, we visited Nananohama, Shichigahama Kokusai Village, Hanabushi Shrine, Mt. Tamon, and then returned to Sendai City from Shiogama Station on the Tohoku Main Line.
The distance is 27km and the driving time is about 2 hours, so it can be completed in about half a day, so it is recommended when you have half a day to spare, such as on the day you arrive in Sendai or on the day you return to Tokyo from Sendai.
